(See SM-VA 007 - Safety instructions) Prior to the start of work, the construction manager will receive instructions. For subsequent jobs, new training is required. Information is provided on special dangers, which can occur during work. Subsequently, the information must be passed on to the employees through training by the construction manager and realized accordingly. All foreign language personnel must receive special care in training and supervision. Clear communication must be assured. We expect that our partners sufficiently and appropriately trained their employees in the areas of safety and occupational health and safety prior to start of work. The same is applicable to subcontractors. All training performed must be documented in writing, and filed at the construction site, and upon request presented to ArcelorMittal Bremen. For longer periods of work at ArcelorMittal Bremen, repeat training sessions must be performed at least once a year. All employees of the contractor must be familiar with the safety characteristics pursuant to guideline 92/58/EWG (realization in BV AS).
