Line managers of the respective departments are the contacts for open flame and welding work within sections of the operations and installations. This is regulated via work and open flame permits. If the line manager is not able to evaluate the fire hazard, he will inform the plant fire department. Together with the line manager, the shift leader of the plant fire department will inspect and the construction site area and determine the appropriate safety measures.
